Certified Medication Aide, Long-Term Care

Job overview

The Certified Medication Aide, Long-Term Care role is onsite in Minot, ND. Compensation is $29–$32 per hour. The aide works under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a long-term care setting. The role supports residents’ medication routines and daily care by administering routine medications, observing and reporting responses, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with activities of daily living. This work contributes to safe, consistent resident care under nursing supervision.

What you'll do

• Administer routine oral, topical, and other non-injectable medications according to physician orders
• verify medication, dose, route, time, and resident identity
• observe therapeutic responses and adverse reactions and report findings to the charge nurse
• document medication administration
• assist with medication cart management, ordering, and storage
• provide direct resident care and support activities of daily living as assigned.
