The Vascular Access Registered Nurse role is onsite in Rocky Mount, NC, with pay of $80,000–$85,000 per year. The clinician travels on scheduled workdays within approximately a 160-mile radius of home to provide bedside vascular access services. Vascular Wellness provides specialized vascular access services and describes a mission to advance healthcare and empower nurses. The clinician assesses patients, recommends vascular access treatment, and performs procedures within their training and credentials. The work supports appropriate access, infection prevention, and clear clinical handoffs to the licensed person caring for the patient.

What you'll do

• Consult on vascular access device appropriateness using diagnosis, therapy plan, prognosis, and medical/surgical history
• perform ordered vascular access procedures within training and credentials
• use infection prevention measures and ultrasound guidance as indicated
• document procedures and report to the licensed person caring for the patient
• follow facility policies and state Nurse Practice Act.
