Direct Support Associate - Part-Time Weekends

The Direct Support Associate works onsite in Lexington Park, MD, serving Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary's Counties. Pay is $20 per hour. What you'll do

• Assist individuals with personal care and daily living skills, including hygiene, health, toileting, eating, and lifting or transfers
• teach skills that build on individual strengths and personal goals
• assist with meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and household management
• support community participation and transportation to banking, medical appointments, and social or recreational settings
• assist with or dispense medication or prescribed treatments as necessary
• support individuals in self-advocacy or connect them with advocates. Work Saturday and Sunday on either the 6 a.m.–2 p.m. or 2 p.m.–10 p.m. shift
• attend and pass required training.
