The Universal Pre-Kindergarten Teaching Assistant role is onsite at locations that vary within the Albany City School District in Albany, NY. The role contributes to students’ academic and social-emotional development through classroom activities, individualized support, documentation, and a safe, nurturing learning environment.

What you'll do

• Assist with weekly lesson plans and classroom materials
• collaborate with the lead teacher on hands-on activities
• help deliver age-appropriate instruction in literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies
• support small groups and individual students
• complete student documentation
• help manage the classroom and maintain health and safety practices.
