Preschool Teacher, Head Start is an onsite, full-time role in Roxbury, MA, with compensation of $21–$36 per hour and a Monday–Friday, 8:15 a.m.–3:45 p.m. schedule. The teacher supports The Dimock Center's Head Start program for preschool-aged children. The role promotes children's development and school readiness through individualized, inclusive classroom instruction and strong partnerships with families, while meeting program and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate curriculum
• maintain a safe, inclusive classroom
• use observations, assessments, and family input to individualize instruction
• support children with diverse learning needs
• conduct screenings and assessments
• maintain required records
• collaborate with specialists and families
• conduct conferences and home visits
• guide assistant teachers and classroom aides
• comply with Head Start and Massachusetts EEC requirements.
