Communications Strategist

The Communications Strategist role is based at TruStone Financial’s Plymouth or Burnsville administrative office locations. Compensation is $73,500–$91,500 per year. TruStone Financial is a member-owned credit union serving members in Minnesota and Wisconsin and working to support lifelong financial well-being. The strategist leads enterprise internal and external communications to strengthen employee engagement, member trust, brand reputation, and organizational alignment. The role translates complex business strategies into clear messages and coordinates communications, executive storytelling, public relations, content governance, and key enterprise events.

What you'll do

• Lead internal and external communications strategy
• own internal communications, public relations, executive communications, corporate storytelling, brand and content governance, and enterprise events
• partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• translate business strategies for employees, members, community stakeholders, and board audiences
• plan and manage corporate events and employee meetings
• support communications during organizational change
• follow compliance requirements and escalation protocols.
