The Clinician / Mental Health Consultant — Early Head Start Coordinator works onsite in East Orange, NJ, with a salary of $65,000–$70,000 per year. The position coordinates the CHCECC Early Head Start program in partnership with Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center. The role combines clinical services with program oversight to support children, families, and early-childhood staff. It coordinates therapeutic and administrative program components, trains and supervises staff, and supports implementation, compliance, and continuous quality improvement.

What you'll do

• Coordinate therapeutic and administrative program components
• monitor and report program outcomes
• support compliance with funding and service mandates
• serve as liaison between Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center and Family Connections
• deliver evidence-based parenting and teacher training
• consult with teaching staff and family childcare providers through observations and training
• train staff on child mental health concerns
• assist with policies to limit suspension and prohibit expulsion
• supervise interns and program staff
• provide clinical services.
