Shop Foreman

The Shop Foreman role is onsite in Austin, TX, Monday–Friday. Compensation is $34 per hour. The position supports the Austin-area operation of a precast and prestressed concrete manufacturer serving commercial, healthcare, and infrastructure construction across Texas. The foreman coordinates daily shop and yard operations, crews, materials, and safety so work can proceed efficiently and on schedule. The role also tracks production and trains team members, contributing to the operation’s ability to meet its work requirements.

What you'll do

• Run daily onsite operations
• coordinate crews and assign daily tasks
• maintain supplies, tools, hardware, and materials
• order, track, and organize inventory
• read drawings and ensure work matches them
• keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• enforce safety rules and attend safety meetings
• track production and maintain records
• train new team members and coach existing staff
• make occasional same-day trips to the Dallas area for parts or materials when needed.
