Direct Support Professional – American Sign Language

Job overview

The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Huntington Beach, CA, part-time, with a pay range of $17–$20 per hour. DABS provides skills training and supported living services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides person-centered supervision and occasional hands-on assistance to support individuals’ health, safety, and daily living. What you'll do

• Provide supervision in the individual’s home and community
• supervise and occasionally assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, meals, housekeeping, and laundry
• supervise medication administration when needed
• accompany or transport individuals to appointments
• report changes in health, behavior, or environment
• complete daily logs and progress notes
• participate in interdisciplinary meetings as needed.
