Job overview
The Lube Technician role is an onsite, full-time position in Camby, IN, paying $14–$17 per hour. The role supports the service operation at Greg Hubler Automotive’s Chevy dealership. The technician performs basic vehicle maintenance and inspections while helping provide a safe, customer-focused service experience. The work includes preparing vehicles for service, completing maintenance tasks, documenting inspection findings, and keeping the work area clean and safe.
What you'll do
- Evaluate guest needs and provide guest service
- install protective floor mats and seat covers
- maneuver vehicles in and out of service bays
- lift vehicles using manufacturer-recommended lift points
- perform basic maintenance including oil and filter changes, fluid top-offs, filter and wiper replacement, tire pressure setting, tire rotation and balancing, tire mounting and dismounting, tire patching, light bulb installation, and lubrication
- torque wheels and reset tire pressure monitoring sensors
- perform multipoint inspections and make recommendations based on failed items or recommended service intervals
- reset oil-life monitoring systems
- maintain a clean and safe work environment
- stay current with manufacturer training and vehicle updates.
