What you'll do

• Establish and maintain a developmentally appropriate classroom
• promote emotional and social growth for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• plan and implement instruction that meets students’ individual needs, abilities, and interests
• create a classroom environment suited to student maturity and interests
• guide learning toward curriculum goals
• establish and communicate objectives for lessons, units, and projects
• and implement the district’s educational philosophy and instructional materials.
