The Technical Project Manager, Federal Software Modernization role is hybrid in McLean, VA, with onsite work as needed. The salary range is $110,000–$150,000 per year. The role supports iCatalyst’s federal program and its mission-driven technology and digital-transformation work. The position leads end-to-end delivery of software modernization initiatives, coordinating technical teams, schedules, risks, deliverables, and reporting. It aligns engineering, data, cloud, and AI work with federal security, compliance, accessibility, and quality requirements to support predictable program delivery.

What you'll do

• Lead federal software modernization delivery, including scope, schedule, staffing, risks, dependencies, and task-order deliverables
• maintain project schedules in Microsoft Project and delivery tracking in JIRA
• manage documentation and governance records
• prepare monthly financial, staffing, schedule, risk, and status reports
• coordinate architecture, code analysis, databases, AWS workloads, testing, and AI/ML activities
• manage decisions and remediation backlogs
• coordinate compliance with security, Section 508, and software standards
• establish delivery cadence and regression testing.
