Senior Systems Support Engineer

The Senior Systems Support Engineer role is onsite five days a week in Pleasanton, CA, supporting instruments across the Pleasanton and Santa Clara campuses and remote external sites. Compensation is $78–$80.29 per hour. The role is part of the DSI R&D Services Team. The engineer provides hardware, software, and networking support for client instruments. The work helps maintain reliable instrument operations through network troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, software upgrades, qualification activities, service documentation, and coordination with stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Configure and maintain firewalls, servers, and PC devices
• manage IP addresses and folder shares
• diagnose network connectivity issues
• perform preventive maintenance, installation and operational qualifications, hardware repairs, part replacements, and software upgrades
• document service activities in the electronic database
• coordinate requests through ServiceNow and communicate status updates.
