The General Clerk III – HVAC Clerical Support role is onsite in Jacksonville, North Carolina, at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Pay is $23.83 per hour plus $15.25 in fringe benefits for insurance and 401(k). The role provides clerical, records, database, and administrative support to the HVAC Section and HVAC Manager. The clerk maintains accurate program records and supports engineering, maintenance, and project documentation so the HVAC program can track work and meet administrative requirements. The position organizes files, updates databases and trackers, compiles reports, and coordinates information with internal departments.

What you'll do

• Establish and maintain paper and electronic filing systems
• scan, index, archive, and retrieve documents
• update databases and tracking systems including Maximo, Deltek, Cost Point, and Excel
• review records for accuracy and completeness
• assist with technical information retrieval and reports
• maintain logs and trackers
• prepare and distribute documents
• coordinate with work control, maintenance, supply, accounting, engineering, and supervisors.
