What you'll do

• Read machine manuals, blueprints, and electrical and air-logic schematics
• troubleshoot and repair production equipment using mechanical and basic electrical skills
• perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs on production equipment, plant systems, and mobile equipment
• perform welding, fabrication, cutting, lubrication, pneumatics, hydraulics, rigging, and power-transmission repairs
• use plumbing, pipefitting, and carpentry skills for facility repairs
• communicate equipment and system issues to production employees and management
• use PPE and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
