The Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) role is onsite in Pekin, IL, with pay of $18–$23.96 per hour. The position supports hospital operations at Pekin Veterinary Clinic, which provides wellness, dental, surgical, diagnostic, and rehabilitation services. What you'll do

• Conduct examinations and diagnostic procedures
• take vital signs, collect samples, administer medications and vaccines, and bandage wounds
• assist with examinations and operations
• care for and observe patients
• maintain medical records, equipment, and inventory
• follow medication and controlled-drug procedures
• sanitize and sterilize areas and instruments
• communicate patient status to pet owners as directed
• and release pets to owners as directed.
