Senior Water Mitigation Technician

The Senior Water Mitigation Technician role is onsite in Sarasota, FL, with compensation of $20–$27 per hour based on experience and qualifications. The position joins a restoration team responding to residential and commercial property damage emergencies. The technician performs hands-on mitigation work to extract water, remove damaged materials, dry and clean affected areas, and protect property. The work supports timely restoration while keeping customers informed and job sites safe and organized.

What you'll do

• Respond to water, mold, fire, and other property-damage emergencies
• extract standing water and remove damaged materials
• set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment
• perform controlled demolition
• clean and treat damaged areas
• assist with mold remediation and containment when properly trained
• protect unaffected areas and belongings
• document work with photos, measurements, moisture readings, and job notes
• maintain job sites, vehicles, tools, and equipment
• communicate with customers and team members
• follow safety and PPE procedures
• assist with reconstruction and other restoration work when needed.
