The Branch Manager – Freight Forwarding Operations role is in person in Houston, TX, with compensation of $120,000–$160,000+ DOE. The role is the first senior operational leadership position at a growing customs brokerage and freight forwarding company, reporting to the President.

What you'll do

• Lead ocean, air, and domestic freight forwarding operations from shipment initiation through billing and file closure
• hire, onboard, coach, and manage operations and administrative staff
• develop standard operating procedures
• own branch profitability, gross profit performance, and billing discipline
• report key performance indicators and participate in budgeting, staffing, and growth planning
• manage customer relationships and escalations
• and oversee use of operational systems. The Licensed Customs Broker retains customs compliance and Customs and Border Protection matters.
