What you'll do

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the progressive care unit
• manage staff scheduling and patient and family rounding
• support care planning
• conduct quality reviews, including medication scanning and protocol documentation
• participate in interviewing and hiring
• monitor employee performance
• assist with learning plans and annual evaluations
• contribute to budget formulation and supply management
• support regulatory and nursing standards
• assume departmental oversight in the director’s absence.
