Registered Nurse (RN), Hospice and Palliative Care

The Registered Nurse (RN), Hospice and Palliative Care role is onsite in Lake Charles, LA. Compensation is $33.70–$38.70 per hour. What you'll do

• Assess patient physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs
• develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• manage pain and symptoms according to physician orders and care plans
• administer medications and treatments safely
• educate and support patients and families
• coordinate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, aides, and other team members
• monitor patient status and report changes
• document care and responses
• participate in interdisciplinary meetings and care planning
• provide emotional support and guidance.
