Shipping and Receiving Clerk

What you'll do

• Arrange freight transportation for plant products
• read shipping orders to determine quantities and transportation needs
• coordinate carrier loading instructions
• record loading locations and arrival times
• coordinate delivery of purchased items to departments
• organize parts by project or department
• receive and inspect merchandise for damage, quantities, and back orders
• stock shelves
• process receipt paperwork and returns
• assist with physical inventory
• follow quality-control processes.
