The Registered Nurse (RN) Perioperative Team Coordinator role is onsite in Charleston, SC, supporting the SJCH operating room and procedure service line. The coordinator supports Perioperative Services and its clinical, quality, staffing, and operational goals. The coordinator helps maintain safe, consistent perioperative operations by supporting staff competency, recruitment, education, workflow improvement, and collaboration across perioperative teams. The role also contributes to quality improvement and service-line coordination through specialty groups, audits, and operational planning.

What you'll do

• Support service-line and organizational goals
• coordinate with SPD leadership and perioperative teams
• lead or co-lead Working Specialty Groups and communicate issues and solutions
• participate in S3/RCA events, action planning, education, and audits
• support staffing solutions, staff competency, recruitment, onboarding, and evaluations
• collaborate on standardized procedures and workflow improvements.

Why this role

Schedule is 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; no weekends, major holidays, or call required. Requires a BSN or current BSN enrollment with completion within four years, three years of related perioperative nursing experience, two years of operating room scrub and circulate experience, RN licensure, BLS, and CNOR within 12 months of hire.
