Infusion Nurse — Per Diem

The Infusion Nurse role is onsite in Rockport, ME, with scheduled work from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on set days; the schedule is not open weekends. Compensation is not specified. Novella Infusion Services partners with healthcare providers to manage in-office infusion centers. The role exists to provide safe infusion therapy and personalized patient care. It contributes by administering ordered treatments, monitoring patients, educating patients and caregivers, and coordinating follow-up care and records.

What you'll do

• Administer infusion therapy according to physician orders and protocols
• establish and maintain intravenous access
• monitor for reactions and document progress
• educate patients and caregivers
• follow infection-control practices
• maintain refrigerator temperatures and daily logs
• coordinate follow-up appointments and therapy sessions
• notify physicians and regional directors of patient-condition changes
• collect co-pays as required and support patient satisfaction surveys.
