MDS Coordinator — Registered Nurse (RN)

The MDS Coordinator — Registered Nurse (RN) role is full-time and onsite in Solomons, MD, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and a rotating on-call schedule. Compensation is $76,000–$93,000 per year, depending on experience. The role supports the nursing care center at Asbury Solomons, a continuing care retirement community. The coordinator leads resident assessment and Minimum Data Set (MDS) completion, develops care plans, and works with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate assessments and care. The role also supports accurate reimbursement data and may supervise nursing staff as needed.

What you'll do

• Create care plans based on resident assessments and input from residents, families, and the care team
• schedule PPS/MDS assessments
• coordinate timely and accurate completion of nursing and interdisciplinary MDS sections
• compile insurance update data
• communicate with therapy and insurance case managers
• coordinate care plans and assessments
• supervise nursing staff as needed
• participate in the nurse management on-call rotation.

Why this role
