The Automotive Dealership Controller role is onsite in Columbia, SC; pay will be discussed during the interview. The position supports Holler-Classic Family of Dealerships’ centralized office and its dealership operations. The controller oversees dealership accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accurate statements, reconciliations, and tax reporting. The role also develops accounting staff and promotes consistent procedures and internal controls across assigned dealerships.

What you'll do

• Prepare monthly financial statements and submit them to the CFO and OEM
• prepare monthly sales tax reporting
• monitor receivables
• analyze financial statements, daily operating controls, and expense trends
• reconcile scheduled accounts monthly and bank accounts daily
• train and mentor accounting staff
• promote accounting best practices and internal controls
• meet with dealership management.
