The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Technician role is onsite in Suffield, CT, working Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Compensation is $27.95–$30.44 per hour. The role supports production and building equipment at HP Hood, a food and beverage manufacturer. This entry-level maintenance position develops troubleshooting and repair capability under the supervision of a higher-level mechanic. By maintaining production and warehouse equipment and completing assigned work orders, the technician helps keep manufacturing operations functioning safely and to established product standards.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair production-facility equipment under supervision
• perform preventive maintenance on production and warehouse equipment
• carry out mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and plumbing work as required
• rebuild or replace equipment components
• complete work orders by due dates and assigned housekeeping
• report conditions that could prevent production to standards
• follow safety, GMP, SOP, and company requirements
• and support food safety and the preventive maintenance program.
