Environmental Technician

Job overview

The Environmental Technician role is onsite in Wakefield, MA, serving treatment plants and pump stations around the North Shore of Massachusetts. Pay is $22–$25 per hour. The technician supports day-to-day operations and maintenance at water and wastewater treatment facilities. The role helps keep treatment equipment and pump stations operating through inspections, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain treatment plants and associated pump stations
• inspect, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment at water and wastewater facilities
• respond to emergencies and work assigned shifts, on-call periods, weekends, and holidays.
