Electrical BIM/VDC Detailer

The Electrical BIM/VDC Detailer role is fully remote for candidates located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone. It pays $85,000–$115,000 per year. GEE Group is partnering with an established electrical construction organization; the detailer serves as a VDC resource on assigned projects. The detailer develops coordinated, constructible electrical models and drawings that support installation and prefabrication. The role works with project management, field leadership, engineers, general contractors, and trade partners to align models with project requirements and field conditions.

What you'll do

• Develop 3D electrical models using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• produce shop, installation, and fabrication drawings
• serve as the VDC contact for assigned projects
• participate in coordination meetings
• perform clash detection and resolution
• coordinate electrical systems with other disciplines
• revise models for RFIs, change orders, design revisions, and as-builts
• develop SysQue prefabrication plans and spool drawings
• support field layout
• apply NEC knowledge
• and provide technical support to field and prefabrication teams.
