Automotive Service Technician — Lexus of New Orleans

What you'll do

• Examine vehicles and diagnose issues
• discuss damage or malfunctions with the Shop Foreman or Service Advisor
• communicate additional service requests
• plan work with the Shop Foreman
• provide labor time estimates
• monitor repair time and update the Service Advisor
• document repairs
• use the dealership computer system
• assist technician trainees
• maintain a clean work area
• attend training and department meetings
• follow regulations, including hazardous-waste disposal requirements.
