What you'll do

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered
• Contribute to the assessment of residents
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to emergent situations
• Counsel residents and family members on prevention and treatment plans
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings
• Complete required annual continuing education and competency training.
