The Head Teacher Substitute — North Head Start, Kauai role is onsite in Lihue, HI, with compensation of $25–$28 per hour. Child & Family Service is a community-based organization whose mission is strengthening families and fostering children’s healthy development. Under the Site Supervisor, the substitute plans and implements the daily curriculum and manages and supervises the Head Start classroom program. The role supports children’s development and classroom continuity and may require travel by personal vehicle throughout the island as needed.

What you'll do

• Plan and implement the daily curriculum
• manage and supervise classroom aspects of the Head Start program
• work with children ages 3–5 and their families
• participate in ongoing in-service training
• travel throughout the island by personal vehicle as needed.
