What you'll do

• Monitor technical and quality-control standards
• establish and understand project control
• interpret construction plans and complete projects under deadlines
• perform construction calculations and staking and prepare cut sheets and staking plans
• collect topographic and tree-survey data
• prepare notes and sketches
• use GPS and robotic total station instruments
• maintain equipment, office station, and vehicles
• communicate project progress
• support and train chainmen, rodmen, and instrument operators
• maintain client relations and jobsite safety.
