What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day nursing department operations under the Director of Nursing
• oversee staffing requirements and resident care monitoring
• conduct daily rounds and recommend corrections
• maintain resident rights, safety, and infection control
• review incident reports and initiate corrective action with the quality assurance nurse
• reallocate staff as needed
• participate in quality assurance and improvement audits
• rotate after-hours on-call duties as assigned
• may work as a staff nurse during a nursing shortage.
