Project Engineer

Job overview

The Project Engineer role is onsite in Newport Beach, CA, with annual pay of $100,000–$115,000. The role coordinates project documentation and communication across project managers, superintendents, public agencies, utilities, inspectors, and field teams. It helps keep schedules, procurement, project records, and reporting accurate and current throughout project delivery.

What you'll do

• Coordinate project activities and documentation for project managers and superintendents
• communicate with public agencies, municipal clients, utilities, and inspectors
• set up project systems and logs
• maintain schedules, procurement registers, submittal and closeout logs, and cost-code tracking
• support pay requests
• process RFIs, submittals, and procurement documents
• monitor pending items
• maintain daily reports and safety documentation
• attend project meetings
• update logs and monthly reports
• coordinate office and field teams.
