The Guest Substitute Teacher role is onsite in Tucson, AZ; compensation is $21.25 per hour, with pay for up to eight hours per day. The teacher works with Leman Academy scholars, families, faculty, and school staff under the Assistant Principal. The substitute provides instruction using the school’s classical learning model, maintains a safe and orderly classroom, and adapts teaching methods to scholars’ needs. The role also supports academic, social, and physical development and follows school policies and confidentiality requirements.

What you'll do

• Instruct scholars using whole-class, small-group, and individual approaches
• establish and enforce classroom rules
• observe academic performance, behavior, and social development
• adapt teaching methods and materials
• support scholars with disabilities using assistive devices and technology
• guide scholars with academic or social needs
• use classroom equipment and materials safely
• supervise activities and assist with hall, cafeteria, drop-off, and pick-up monitoring
• maintain FERPA confidentiality.
