What you'll do

• Perform routine boiler-mechanical assignments
• prepare boilers for inspection
• remove, install, align, fit, and repair boilers and auxiliary equipment
• perform cutting, brazing, soldering, pipe fitting, threading, flange assembly, gasket installation, and qualified welding
• support routine re-tubing and hydrotests
• inspect and repair refractory
• troubleshoot basic boiler, burner, pump, feedwater, steam, hot-water, and condensate issues
• read mechanical and electrical drawings
• maintain field records and customer updates
• assist Level 1 mechanics and helpers
• travel and work overtime as required.
