The Automotive Service Technician Apprentice role is onsite in Lynn, MA. Pay starts at $20 per hour and up, based on experience. Pride Motor Group’s Chevrolet store supports vehicle sales and service and offers an in-house apprenticeship program toward factory certification. The apprentice learns and performs maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work under experienced technicians while completing training and certifications. The role contributes to accurate repairs, documented inspections, and customer service as the apprentice develops toward greater responsibility.

What you'll do

• Learn and perform maintenance, diagnostic, and repair tasks under experienced technicians
• complete assigned repair orders
• document and video multipoint inspection findings
• follow safety guidelines and secure workspaces, tools, and customer vehicles
• communicate with technicians, advisors, and staff
• complete OEM and in-house training and certifications
• treat vehicles and customer trust responsibly.

Why this role

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m., with rotating Saturday shifts, 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m.; a weekday off is provided on weeks with a Saturday shift. The posting requires recent automotive technical-school graduation or at least 12 months of verifiable hands-on repair experience.
