This role provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The LPN/RN demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles, performs assessments, administers medications and treatments, and ensures the health, comfort, and safety of residents.

What you'll do

• Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Contribute to the assessment of residents.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
• Counsel residents and family members on prevention and treatment plans.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.

Experience

Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
