The VOAD Capacity Corps Program Coordinator works primarily onsite in Oklahoma City, OK, with regular work at partner, community, training, meeting, and field sites throughout Oklahoma. Compensation is $23–$25 per hour. The role is in American YouthWorks’ Conservation Corps division and Development department, supporting development of a proposed AmeriCorps disaster-service program. The coordinator builds the partnerships, service model, host-site resources, training framework, and compliance systems needed to prepare the program for launch. The work is intended to strengthen disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and community resilience across Oklahoma.
What you'll do
- Lead program planning and assessment
- conduct stakeholder interviews and develop a disaster capacity assessment
- design the service model and host-site placement framework
- develop a launch-ready implementation plan
- build relationships with disaster-serving organizations and agencies
- coordinate an advisory team and host-site agreements
- develop host-site resources and recruitment strategy
- coordinate training and compliance frameworks
- track milestones and prepare reports and funding materials.
