The Exercise Physiologist, Cardiac Rehabilitation role is an onsite, full-time position in Mission Viejo, CA, with 8-hour day shifts. Compensation is $27.92–$42.73 per hour. The role supports Providence Mission Hospital’s cardiac rehabilitation program; the hospital is recognized for high-quality care and is pursuing a fourth Magnet designation. The position supports adult and geriatric patients across Phase I inpatient through Phase IV cardiac rehabilitation. Under the direct supervision of an Exercise Specialist or registered nurse, the physiologist evaluates risk factors and educational needs, provides orientation, education, treatment, and care, and contributes exercise physiology expertise as indicated.

What you'll do

• Evaluate risk factors and educational needs
• orient, educate, treat, and provide care for adult and geriatric patients in Phase I through Phase IV of the cardiac rehabilitation program
• assist with departmental activities under the direct supervision of an Exercise Specialist or registered nurse
• provide exercise physiology expertise as indicated.
