The Operational Technology / Industrial Control Systems Security Operations Center Analyst role is onsite in Huntsville, AL. Compensation is not specified. The analyst monitors and investigates security activity across converged IT and OT environments, coordinates incident response, and improves detection and defensive readiness. The work emphasizes personnel safety and process reliability while helping protect industrial control systems and mission-support networks.

What you'll do

• Monitor security telemetry across network, endpoint, identity, cloud, application, and other sources
• investigate cybersecurity events and assess scope, affected assets, and mission impact
• correlate alerts with asset criticality, vulnerabilities, threat intelligence, and historical activity
• conduct incident triage and preserve evidence
• execute authorized containment and response actions
• document findings and communicate risk and recommendations
• apply threat intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK
• validate automated analytics
• tune alerts and detection logic
• improve playbooks, procedures, queries, dashboards, and workflows
• participate in post-incident reviews and cyber exercises
• mentor SOC Analyst I personnel and review escalated cases.
