The classroom executive plans and implements preschool programming while supporting children’s safety, health, hygiene, learning, and development. The role works with an assistant classroom executive, families, and center staff to maintain a supportive classroom and continuity of care and learning.

What you'll do

• Provide classroom instruction with the assistant classroom executive
• supervise children and classroom volunteers
• plan and implement programs consistent with the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies
• maintain a safe and healthy classroom
• communicate with parents through reports, home visits, conferences, and meetings
• maintain children’s development records
• conduct developmental screenings
• complete at least 15 continuing education hours annually.
