Fire and Safety Manager

What you'll do

• Monitor and enforce corporate and facility safety policies
• develop local safety procedures
• conduct inspections and recommend corrective actions
• provide safety training and mentor safety personnel
• control hazardous chemical use and monitor safety data sheet compliance
• assess PPE needs
• oversee sanitation, hygiene, air quality, noise, and illumination standards
• monitor fire protection systems and testing
• develop emergency plans and coordinate drills
• support audits
• manage the safety budget
• investigate accidents and near accidents
• maintain accident records and analyze trends
• review on-site construction and repairs for safety compliance
• serve on call for facility emergencies.
