What you'll do

• Prepare meals according to menus, standardized recipes, diet orders, and resident needs
• prepare therapeutic and special diets accurately
• ensure meals are appetizing, properly portioned, and served at the correct temperature
• provide approved substitutions
• support special meals, activities, and events
• maintain food and supply levels
• keep production, storage, and preparation areas clean and organized
• safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• follow sanitation, infection-control, food-safety, and workplace-safety procedures
• complete required records.
