Dietary Aide

Job overview

The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Winchester, VA. Compensation is $15–$15.50 per hour, based on experience. Winchester Health and Rehab provides care to residents in a health and rehabilitation setting. The aide supports residents’ mealtimes by helping prepare and serve food according to dietary needs and preferences. The role also maintains clean dining and kitchen areas and works with the dietary team to provide respectful service.

What you'll do

• Assist with meal preparation and service
• set up and clean dining areas
• deliver meals and trays
• serve meals according to resident diets and preferences
• follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• wash dishes and kitchen equipment
• clean and organize workspaces
• stock food and supplies
• work with the Dietary Manager, Cook, and dietary team.
