What you'll do

• Conduct objective clinical research
• Manage and ensure integrity of research design, conduct, and reporting
• Oversee compliance, financial, and personnel aspects of research projects
• Coordinate with necessary departments to ensure research is conducted in accordance with federal regulations and sponsoring agency policy and procedures
• Minimize risks to research subjects
• Ensure risks are reasonable in relation to anticipated benefits
• Ensure equitable selection of human subjects
• Obtain informed consent
• Monitor data for subject safety
• Protect subject privacy and maintain data confidentiality
• Include additional safeguards for vulnerable populations
• Respond promptly to information requests
• Ensure adequate resources and facilities are available
• Ensure delegated tasks are performed by qualified personnel
• Inform personnel of study procedures, consent requirements, adverse events, and reporting criteria
• Conduct research strictly according to the approved protocol
• Report deviations
• Request approval for protocol modifications
• Maintain adequate records
• Report adverse events and significant changes in risk/benefit
• Provide care for adverse events
• Keep subjects informed of new information
• Ensure investigators have appropriate credentials and training
• Adhere to Good Clinical Practice guidelines
• Maintain accurate research subject records
• Collaborate with quality and clinical operational oversight.

What we're looking for

Education

A valid medical degree (MD or DO)

Experience

5+ years of clinical research experience as a PI or Sub-Investigator
