Assembly Technician — Aerospace

The Assembly Technician role is onsite in Wichita, KS, working Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay is $25–$30 per hour. The technician supports an aerospace industry client building aircraft and spacecraft components. The role assembles precision components and systems to meet technical drawings and quality requirements. Accurate installation, finishing, sealing, and measurement work contributes to the performance, safety, and reliability of aerospace products.

What you'll do

• Assemble precision components using hand and power tools
• install press-fit and force-fit bushings
• perform aircraft and spacecraft assembly
• complete bench-top assemblies with or without jigs and fixtures
• trim, shim, and remove surface defects
• handle aircraft fasteners
• apply aircraft sealants
• read blueprints and technical drawings
• use metrology tools to verify tolerances and quality.

Why this role

Requires 2+ years of manufacturing assembly experience, sheet metal assembly and fastener installation experience, blueprint reading, metrology skills, and 1+ year of aircraft sealer application experience.
