Job overview

The Local Class A CDL Truck Driver role is onsite in Shepherdstown, WV; pay is $25 per hour. The driver makes multiple daily runs transporting construction materials to job sites. GardenCore manufactures lawn and garden products, including mulch, soil, stone, and lime. The driver operates flatbed and live-floor tractor trailers, secures and delivers loads, and maintains required vehicle and delivery records. The role supports safe, timely delivery and customer service at job sites.

What you'll do

• Transport construction materials safely and on time
• assist with loading and ensure proper order and weight distribution
• follow dispatcher instructions
• maintain DOT logs, fuel receipts, and delivery documents
• maintain customer relationships
• inspect the vehicle and report concerns
• obtain shipping bills and signatures
• perform routine truck and equipment maintenance
• survey job sites and unload safely
• monitor product quality, customer satisfaction, and traffic.
