Accounting Associate

What you'll do

• Process vendor invoices and accounts payable entries
• dispute invalid invoices
• plan and generate check runs after obtaining approvals
• prepare weekly accounts payable and receivable aging reports
• reconcile vendor accounts
• set up new suppliers
• process customer invoices and follow up on receivables
• perform credit checks on prospective customers
• negotiate vendor payment terms and discounts
• partner with Procurement on cash flow and vendor agreements
• answer phones and direct calls.
