Federal Construction Project Manager

Job overview

The Federal Construction Project Manager role is based in the Hyattsville, MD area, with work from the client's home office and travel to project sites as required. Compensation is $66 per hour as a 1099 contractor or $125,000 annually for W-2 direct hire. The role supports Department of Defense, NAVFAC, and other federal construction projects.

What you'll do

• Manage federal construction projects from award through closeout
• maintain schedules, budgets, and forecasts
• manage subcontractor procurement and contract administration
• process RFIs, submittals, invoices, and change orders
• coordinate owners, government representatives, subcontractors, and field personnel
• support accident prevention and quality control plans
• monitor performance, costs, risks, schedules, and compliance
• lead project meetings and report updates.
